Please find the event you attended below to review the states NLADA has applied to and will report attendance to.

  For all other states: You may self-apply for credit using the CLE certificate. Please note: some states either require or allow self-reporting as well.

Please review the tutorials on the right for steps on claiming CLE

Step 1: To claim CLE credit, you must be logged into the Learning Lab

(Email to log in must be the same as the event registration email. If this is your first time logging in or you forgot your password, please use the "Forgot Password" function)

Step 2: Find each session you attended

Step 3: In the product of each session you attended, acknowledge your attendance under the "Components" tab & follow the CLE process

Step 4: Your certificates will save in your Learning Lab Dashboard

*IMPORTANT: To receive CLE, you will need to complete a form that will be provided during the webinar. If you do not complete it, you will not get access to a CLE certificate.

NLADA has been approved for the following states for 1 Ethics CLE accreditation:
Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Washington

NLADA is pending CLE accreditation for:
California, Pennsylvania, South Carolina

NLADA will diligently report attendance to:
Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Washington

You may claim credit based on reciprocity for the following states:
Alaska (via another mandatory CLE jurisdiction)
Hawaii (via Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, or Ohio)
New York (via North Carolina) 
New Jersey (via another mandatory CLE jurisdiction)
North Dakota (via another mandatory CLE jurisdiction)
Oregon (via Washington)
Wisconsin (via another mandatory CLE jurisdiction)

Self-reporting states based on approved applications:
California (once approved), Missouri, Texas

Other self-reporting states (NLADA did not apply for CLE approval but no self-application required):
Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Wyoming

Self-application required (NLADA did not apply for CLE approval): Materials can be found under "Handouts" on the Learning Lab
Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Rhode Island, West Virginia

No CLE Requirements:
Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Dakota

2026 Appellate Defender Training (NYC)

CLE will close on Monday, April 27th at 5PM EDT

NLADA has been approved for the following states for CLE accreditation:
Missouri- 23.4 credits (Course #: 787892)
Ohio- 16 General, 3.5 Professional Conduct (Activity #: 617677)

NLADA is pending CLE accreditation for:
New York, Pennsylvania, Washington

NLADA will diligently report attendance to:
Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington

You may claim credit based on reciprocity for:  
New Jersey and Wisconsin (via any state that approved this program)

Self-reporting states based on approved applications:
