NLADA 2026 Virtual Hill Day
Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Time to be announced
Join the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) to educate members of Congress and their staff of the importance of government support for access to healthcare, housing, education, legal services, and other government services to their constituent communities.
NLADA’s Virtual Hill Day brings together legal aid and public defense leaders, client community advocates, and partners from across the country to elevate the voices of communities most impacted by changes to government-funded services. Participants will engage directly with policymakers to:
- Highlight the critical role of federal support in sustaining legal aid and public defense.
- Share stories that demonstrate the importance of legal aid and public defense in securing safety and stability for communities nationwide.
No prior experience in meetings with Congressional staff is required. NLADA will provide orientation and support to ensure you feel prepared and confident during your meetings.
Your voice matters. Join other equal justice champions from across the country to ensure access to justice remains a national priority. The deadline to register is Friday, April 3rd.
