Jocelyn Frye | President |National Partnership for Women & Families

Jocelyn leads the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she champions health care access, civil rights, economic justice, and racial equity. She is the first Black woman to head the organization, founded in 1971, and previously directed the Women’s Initiative at the Center for American Progress. Her career has focused on closing the gender pay gap, expanding women’s employment opportunities, addressing Black maternal health, and combating discrimination and gender-based violence.

Earlier, she served in the Obama White House, guiding First Lady Michelle Obama’s initiatives on childhood obesity, military families, and youth mentoring. 

Angelo Carusone | President and CEO | Media Matters for America

Angelo has been President & CEO of Media Matters since December 2016. In November 2022, he was selected to chair the organization’s board of directors. Founded in 2004, Media Matters is a nonprofit media watchdog and research organization.    

Angelo is an expert on the media and the information ecosystem. He is a go-to resource for journalists writing about misinformation and the underlying structures that fuel or enable it. He also appears regularly on television news to offer insight and analysis. 

He holds a B.A. from Fordham University and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin

Michelle Behnke | President | American Bar Association

Michelle A. Behnke, a member of the Boardman Clark law firm in Madison, Wisconsin, is president of the American Bar Association, the world’s largest voluntary association of lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals.  Prior to joining the firm, she was the principal of the firm Michelle Behnke & Associates, where her practice focused on business, real estate and estate planning.  Michelle's experience in the real estate area was recognized by her election to membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.  She has also been elected into The American Law Institute, the American Bar Foundation Fellows and the Wisconsin Bar Foundation Fellows.
